Description

The Cudworth Childcare Centre is seeking a Director to lead our team in providing exceptional care and education for young children. The Director will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and administration of the CCC. Currently, our centre has 30 licensed spaces designated for infant, toddlers, preschoolers and school aged children.
Located in Cudworth, our daycare is a newly renovated facility striving to provide high-quality childcare that supports positive physical, cognitive, social and emotional development of young children. The Director will report to the CCC Board of Directors which is comprised of volunteer parents and community members.

Qualifications:
Early Childhood Education Diploma/willing to enroll and work towards Level 3, or working towards an equivalent (or ECE Director Exemption)
Safe Food Handling (or willing to complete prior to starting)
Current First Aid & CPR certificates (recognized in the Province of SK)
Criminal record check
Vulnerable sector check (all applicants are advised that offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check)
Credential verifications and references are required
Responsibilities:
Ensure and provide a safe and developmentally appropriate daycare program in collaboration with centre staff
Adhere to ECE standards and all relevant legislation, policies and procedures
Collaborate with other members of the team and oversee programming in partnership with staff
Provide nurturing care to all children at CCC
Preferred Skills:
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Trustworthy, honest and respectful
Experience with payroll, budgeting and reconciliation
The start date is approximately August 2024, we anticipate opening Winter 2024.
