Description

The Kinistin Saulteaux Nation Prevention program is seeking an individual who is enthusiastic about making a difference, highly skills, adaptable and a self-starter for the position of Parent Aide. The individual will be responsible for program, technical and administrative assistance and support through home visits, screening, assessment, referral and case management services for families, as well as providing access and linkages to community-based services, resources and programs.
Excellent documentation and record keeping skills.
Must possess strong team building work ethics.
Effective problem solving and decision-making skills.
Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Maintain strict order of confidentiality.
Demonstrate ability to be a positive role model.
Working knowledge of PC software applications.
Willing to work flexible hours.
Refer reports of child abuse and neglect for investigation to the Family Service Liaison.

Participate in training, education, mentoring and other forms of development.
Perform other duties as appropriate and necessary for performance of the job.
