Are you an experienced Manager of Field Construction with a visionary mindset, a knack for overseeing large-scale multi-family projects & have seen it all? As Manager of Field Construction, you will manage & lead field construction teams across all projects. You'll share your wealth of construction knowledge & leadership experience to train & develop supervisory personnel, ensuring all job sites are safe & productive.
Job Responsibilities
Oversee site supervisory teams & operations, ensuring projects meet Meridians high standards of quality, on time & on budget
Ensure safety compliance for all workers
Mentor & provide guidance to supervisory teams
Build relationships with staff, subcontractors, consultants & stakeholders
Monitor project budgets & implement cost-saving measures
Review subcontractor invoices at 75% progress
Contribute to the development of initial construction schedules & facilitate recovery plans when schedules lag
You will:
Bring extensive construction industry experience with a proactive mindset
Foster strong relationships & lead teams & external partners towards a common goal
Maintain a strong attention to detail & quality
Are highly organized with excellent time management skills
Are comfortable & decisive in challenging situations
Take initiative in identifying & solving problems to keep projects on schedule & under budget
Journeyperson designation in a construction trade, Bachelor of Commerce degree, or a combination of related experience
Minimum 15 years of experience on multi-family or large commercial projects over $40M+
