Description

Main Duties:
    Handle the loading, unloading, and movement of products and materials either manually or using basic material handling equipment.
    Transport household appliances and furniture onto and off moving trucks or vans.
    Engage in various material handling tasks, including counting, weighing, sorting, packing, and unpacking items.
    Utilize winches and other loading devices to load and unload materials from trucks, railway cars, and loading docks in warehouses and industrial facilities.
    Operate industrial trucks, tractors, loaders, and other machinery to move materials to and from transportation vehicles and loading docks, as well as to store and retrieve materials in warehouses.
    Connect hoses or pipes and manage equipment to load and unload liquid petroleum, chemicals, or other products into or from tank cars, tank trucks, or storage tanks.
    Operate machinery to dump materials such as coal, ore, and grain into or from railway cars, trucks, or other vehicles.
    Use conveyors and equipment to transfer grain or other materials from transportation vehicles to elevators, bins, or other storage locations.
    Perform additional tasks such as opening containers and crates, fulfilling warehouse orders, assisting with inventory management, and weighing and inspecting materials.
