RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Produce Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operation of the
Produce Department, including implementation of all department programs,
expense and inventory control, merchandising, creative displays, ordering,
receiving, pricing, packaging, product rotation, product preparation, staff training,
scheduling and coaching, sanitation and safety standards. Ensure exceptional
customer service is delivered at every level and that all objectives and goals of the
department are met. Assume management functions of the store manager in their
absence.
REQUIREMENTS
Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. Must be highly
motivated with passion and drive to succeed. Must be able to work all shifts
including evenings and weekends. Produce experience is considered an asset.
Position is classified as Safety Sensitive; Alcohol and Substance testing required
as condition of employment.
