Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    Staff, lead and contribute to SynergyAG team culture by providing clear direction to location team.
    Coach and guide the team to support employee engagement, high performance and team success.
    Responsible for location safety requirements and compliance with SynergyAG corporate safety policies as well as AWSA, OH&S and provincial safety regulations.
    Review customer accounts to ensure payments are within the approved credit policy, keeping SynergyAG corporate office apprised of any deficiencies.
    Prepare, analyze and report financial data for the store location.
    Establish margin strategy for store location.
    Develop a sustainable five-year sales budget and growth plan to optimize revenue growth of company products, including establishment of sales revenue targets and definition of key markets.
    Maintain open communication lines Corporate Services and ownership group.
    Recommend resources required to improve the facility and/or business processes.
    Executing market strategy specific to the location, including social media and community outreach.
    Construct sales strategies and marketing activities, working directly with seed, crop nutrient and protection suppliers as well as internal procurement experts.
    Manage inventory levels throughout the season, anticipating future needs or changes.
    Responsible for accurate and timely product forecasting throughout the year.

QUALIFICATIONS
    Minimum of five years of people leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
    Minimum of ten years of experience in Western Canadian agricultural retail.
    Degree in Agriculture is preferred.  A degree in Commerce, or Business Administration is an asset.
    Excellent interpersonal, team building and relationship building and management skills.
    Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
    Must possess a valid class 5 drivers license.
