Description

Prince Albert Northern Bus Lines is a major supplier of Luxury Motorcoach, and Passenger Van transportation in the Province of Saskatchewan.  We also provide Bus Mechanical repairs and Government Inspection Certification to independent and private operators, from our shop in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.
Requirements:   Mechanics may have to lift heavy parts and tools. They sometimes have to work in cramped positions.
Mechanics are expected to provide their own hand tools, be productive, problem solvers, work as part of the team and be willing to upgrade and perfect their skills.  
Mechanics may work outside when emergency maintenance is required.
Our buses are on the road round-the-clock.  Mechanics may work evenings, night, weekend or overtime occasionally to make emergency repairs.
Job Description and/or Duties:   Full Time Day Shift Bus Mechanics - Bus experience with strong skills in electrical and Air Conditioning preferred, but all ranges of Heavy Duty mechanics invited to respond.  Must be willing to learn new skills and participate in training opportunities.
Bus Mechanics provide, but will not be limited to, the following services:
Perform preventive maintenance  to ensure safe vehicle operation.
Safety inspections in accordance with Canadian and US Government regulations.
Troubleshoot problems in vehicle engines, electrical systems, heat and air conditioning, steering, brakes, suspensions and entertainment systems.   Repair, replace, or overhaul parts.
Install and repair accessories.   Repair and adjust seats, doors, and windows.   Test drive buses
Complete work orders to record work performed and maintain paperwork to comply with government regulations.
