Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full Time Bakery Clerk (Baker) at our Food Store location in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Bakery Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach
Properly prepare products prior to baking as per Co-op standards, package and label finished products, decorate and frost cakes and other baked goods maintain production records
Ensure to keep a clean and well-maintained department
Maintain and display all types of bakery products according to department standards
To take special orders from customers, receive and accept merchandise for the Bakery Department
Continually monitor code dates to ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf at all times; follow FIFO
To operate bakery ovens and to provide proper maintenance of equipment, monitor case temperatures and clean equipment regularly
Engage and interact with guests to create a positive shopping experience  in person and on the phone
Take cake orders as required
Perform other duties as assigned

You are familiar with Food Safe procedures and practices
Previous baking experience would be considered an asset
Ability to lift and load products: extensive physical labour is required
Flexible work schedule; weekend and evening work is required
