Description

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full Time Team Leader at our Home Centre located in Big River, Saskatchewan.

What youll do:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
Collaborate with the Home Centre Team in initiating, developing, and implementing plans, policies, and innovations that will ensure the growth in sales, service, and earnings including future forecasting and business development.
Engage and interact with members and customers to create a legendary customer experience at all touchpoints.
Drive sales by identifying customer focused solutions using the full Home Centre product lineup.
Be responsible for the management, maintenance, and security of the store location, property, and rolling stock while providing operational direction and oversight in the implementation of programs and policies.
Oversee adherence to brand and merchandising standards, marketing efforts, and image standards.
Be responsible for achieving budgeted goals through pricing, sales, margins, expenses, and inventory control in each commodity.
Be responsible for building strong customer relationships, delivering solutions, and overseeing and monitoring client satisfaction.
Provide leadership to the team members and the assistant team leader including the functions of acquisition, training, development, coaching and performance management.
Oversee adherence to the Safety Management and Asset Protection systems, policies, procedures, records, and training requirements.
Articulate and effectively communicate a vision for success to the store team.

Who you are:
You have 10+ years of relevant experience in the home and building, construction, or retail industry, 5+ years progressive leadership experience
