Description

Westar Group of Companies is based out of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan and specializes in aggregate processing, transportation, forestry and earthwork. Westar has an opportunity for a highly motivated, experienced and responsible individual as a Tower Operator.

-This job is required for travel but also can be local around Prince albert.
-This position is full time based  

Note* Ability and experience operating other heavy equipment is an asset.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
    Running Tower operation and maintaining crusher spread
    Maintain accurate records and logs
    Perform equipment inspections and preventative maintenance  
    before, during, and after each shift
    Maintain cleanliness of work area
    Problem solving when dealing with unexpected situations

Must follow all safety procedures

-Thorough knowledge and understanding of Westar's safety procedures and their location
-Ability to problem-solve and maintain composure if unexpected or undesirable situations arise

Qualifications:
-Minimum 2 years of Crusher experience
-Experience operating other equipment such as wheel loader, excavator, dozer, skid steer are also an asset
-Class 1A licence an asset
