Description

We are currently hiring a Business Analyst to join our team. The Business Analyst is responsible for eliciting and understanding business requirements and documenting them in a format that features teams and business partners can understand in an agile environment. The Business Analyst acts as a conduit between the business community and the delivery teams to collect, clarify, and translate business requirements into documentation and concepts to be implemented or executed in a project, developed in software, or configured in a platform.



Requirements:



- Four-year degree from an accredited post-secondary education
  institution in a relevant field of study, such as Business,
  Information Technology, Mathematics & Applied Science, or defined
  equivalency.
- Three to Five (3  5) years experience in business analysis.
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certification of - -
  Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA), or other industry-recognized
  designation/certification.
- Advanced knowledge of techniques in eliciting requirements, including
  business, technical, nonfunctional, security, and testing
  requirements.
- Advanced knowledge of various software development lifecycles and
  project delivery processes (e.g., agile, waterfall).
- Advanced skill in documenting epics, features, and user stories.
- Advanced skill in validation processes (i.e., validating that testing
  of user stories meets the required acceptance criteria).
- Proficient knowledge of project management fundamentals.
- Proficient knowledge of core insurance concepts and principles.
