Description

The Role
Working with the corporate SHEQ department, you will assist in the implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of Camecos safety, health, environment and quality (SHEQ) audit program.

In this role, you will:
-Conduct integrated SHEQ and compliance audits to ensure they are performed in conformance with corporate policy.
-Prepare audit reports, enter audit information in the Cameco incident reporting system (CIRS) and oversee all corrective actions related to audit findings
-Participate in audit tracking, monitoring, trending and data management, as well as the preparation of reports for senior management and the board of directors.
-Develop and communicate audit plans and schedules, as well as maintain and assist with training corporate SHEQ auditors.

Required:  
-Bachelors degree in science, engineering or a related field
-Three to five years work experience in safety, environment, or quality field
-Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered

Recommended:
-Experience leading or conducting audits pertaining to safety, health, environment, quality
-Excellent computer and communication skills
-Experience in the nuclear industry
-Quality management system (QMS), safety and health management system (SHMS) or environmental management system (EMS) audit certification
