The Royal Canadian Legion is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Bartender/Facility Manager. This is a multifaceted role that offers the opportunity to wear many hats and contribute significantly to the success of our local branch.
Responsibilities:
Bartender: Responsible for serving drinks to patrons, maintaining a clean and well-stocked bar area, and ensuring responsible alcohol service.
Inventory Control: Manage bar stock, track inventory levels, and place orders for supplies.
Bookkeeping: Post daily invoices and expenses, and handle daily/weekly deposits.
Facility Management: Manage booking requests for the Legion facility, ensuring its cleanliness and proper functioning.
Event Staffing: Oversee staffing for large events, including scheduling employees and volunteers.
Legion Liaison: Work collaboratively with various Legion committees to ensure smooth operation of the facility.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma (Grade 12 or GED)
Bonded Status
Valid First Aid Certification
Serve It Right Certification (preferred)
Experience in bartending, customer service, or facility management (an asset)
Basic computer literacy with experience in Microsoft Office
Salary and Benefits:
Flexible work hours (30-40 hours per week)
Competitive salary based on experience (starting around $15 per hour)
