Crocus Co-op is a mental health organization in Saskatoon. We are excited to be starting a Supported Housing Project. The program will offer a holistic and person-centered approach. The building will be staffed 24 hours a day and provide residents who have mental health/addiction issues with wrap around supports and in-house programming. The Outreach/Addiction Worker will work between Crocus Co-op and the Supported Housing location. Will assist clients to access treatment programs for substance abuse, to accompany clients to appointments, to establish or create community connections for the betterment of the client and work collaboratively with other team members to assist clients to maintain and achieve overall wellness. Must be able to maintain good case plan notes, have valid drivers license, be able to facilitate group programming and other duties as required. Knowledge of the following are highly recommended: Trauma Informed Practice, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Skills, Indigenous Culture, working with case management plans, problematic substance use issues, symptoms of mental health issues.  Reports directly to Executive Director. Must have a certificate or diploma in Addictions.
