The Assembly Technician works to assemble different components for the toolbars or tanks in an efficient and effective manner.



Education/Experience

Assembly/Factory experience an asset
Grade 12
Core Competencies

Manual dexterity
Mechanical aptitude
Ability to run a variety of tools
Ability to understand the assembly process
Ability to focus on details
Ability to work as a member of a team
Trustworthy and dependable
Work with an acceptable attitude toward co-workers and supervisors
Accountabilities

Assemble, fit and install fabricated and prefabricated parts to form a finished product using hand and power tools
Position, align and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly and connect cables, tubes and wires
Fasten parts together using bolting and riveting equipment or other fastening and joining techniques
Safe operation of PME, including lift trucks and cranes
Understand the component of assembling the toolbar or tank
Work productively as directed
Ability to work overtime at peak times of the year is required
Ensure a clean working area
Follow established policies and procedures for acceptable attendance, safety and quality standards
