Description

The cook assistant is responsible for assisting in the kitchen in prepping and preparing meals for the students of Chief Moosomin School. The school cook assistant will demonstrate professional behavior and promote positive relationships with staff and students.
Grade 12 or equivalent, and Basic mathematics, communications, and computer skills, Food preparation experience or training, Safe food handling certification, Willingness to gain an understanding of MFNEC policies and procedures as they relate to the position, Strong written and verbal communication skills, Possess a strong work ethic and be dependable and reliable, Must provide a criminal record (CPIC) and vulnerable sector check,Possess a valid Saskatchewan Drivers License.
Prepare and cook large quantity of food for students,
Help with planning weekly menus, Organizing and stocking shelves with kitchen supplies,Washing dishes & cleaning equipment at the end of the day,Cleaning counters, equipment and floors
