Description

Bit Service Company Ltd. is a Saskatchewan manufacturer and distributor of mining products and equipment, founded in 1965.
Locally owned and operated, employing full time professionals between Esterhazy and Saskatoon head office

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the Technical Service and Sales professional builds and maintains relationships with client base, provides assistance in troubleshooting and facilitating Bit Service in providing solutions to client issues.
Primary Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain strategic relationships with new and existing customers
Prepare and present technical presentations focusing on the company's value proposition to customer
Follow customer policies, procedures and standards
Investigate and aid in resolving customer issues at site
Research various components and parts
Maintain regular scheduled visits to customer mine sites
Develop and build relationships with new clients and sectors
Assist in new product quoting as required
Price and prepare quotations to customers based on established company policies
Support Production and Engineering in product development
Review customer inquiries and ensure a complete understanding of specifications and requirements
Provide ongoing after sale support to clients
Maintain client and vendor relationships with focus on ethics and integrity
Other duties as assigned to support the organization
Qualifications:
Related post-secondary degree/diploma in a technical discipline
Experience in mining and manufacturing sector
Related customer service and business development experience
Strong problem solving skills
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to develop strong working relationships with customers
Ability and willingness to travel to customer and vendor locations as needed
