Description

The Provincial Capital Commission (PCC) provides enhanced visitor experiences and educational programming in Wascana Centre and at the Government House to inspire pride in Saskatchewan's Capital City. The Provincial Capital Commissions strategic focus is to enhance the quality of life in the Capital city by creating community partnerships, promoting visitor experiences, and providing stewardship of the land and assets.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, and creative individual to fill the position of Programming and Visitor Services Supervisor. The successful candidate will coordinate Wascana Centre events and public programs, oversee Wascana Centres social media and website, create graphics and promotional materials, and lead a team of seasonal staff.

As the Programming and Visitor Services Supervisor, you will:
- Coordinate and develop new educational and public programs including designing program logistics and preparing resource materials.
- Ability to use Adobe Photoshop to create promotional graphics and materials for Wascana Centre events and programs.
- Oversee Wascana Centre social media including the creation of posts, posting, and answering public inquiries.
- Oversee and update Wascana Centre website.
- Prepare daily tour and Visitor Experience Host schedules and ensuring daily booking information is distributed to all staff.
- Make logistical arrangements for tours and programs.
- Act as backup for the Visitor Experience Hosts during busy times.
- Lead small team of seasonal staff.

Typically, the knowledge and skills required for this position will have been acquired through completion of a degree in marketing, communications or education combined with several years of relevant experience.
