Description

The role
Reporting to the supervisor, maintenance, you will work as part of a team and primarily be responsible for assembling and servicing underground and surface heavy equipment as specified by preventative maintenance work orders. You must be able to assemble mining equipment as per vendor specifications, perform preventative maintenance inspections, lubrications, as well as be able to troubleshoot equipment failures, complete overhauls and conduct repair work as required. This is a 6-month term position.

Required
-Valid Saskatchewan or interprovincial journeyperson as either a heavy-duty equipment mechanic, agriculture equipment mechanic or truck & transport mechanic certificate
-Five years related underground or surface experience with mobile heavy equipment maintenance
-Ability to utilize OEM diagnostic software
-Team player with good communication skills
-Excellent safety record
-Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft

Recommended
-Reliability or predictive maintenance experience
-Familiarity with computerized maintenance tracking using SAP

Conditions of employment
