Reporting directly to the Office Manager, this position performs routine and preventative maintenance and repair procedures on community clinic buildings and Battle River Treaty 6 Health Centre, in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety Standards.
3 Days/Week
Qualifications and Experience:
* High school diploma or GED (general education diploma)
* Related Trade, Building, or Facility Maintenance Certificate is an asset, at least three years of related experience in building and mechanical equipment maintenance and repair; or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience
* Experience and knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety standards. Relevant training and experience required.
* Proficient in the use of hand and power tools ie: drills, skill saw, zip grinder, grass whip
* Must possess a valid Class 5 Saskatchewan drivers license
* Must provide a successful criminal record check with vulnerable sector
* Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision
* Demonstrate an understanding of the health and social issues encountered by First Nation people and a willingness to learn about and accept First Nations cultures
