Description

We are seeking experienced heavy equipment operators to join our growing Earthworks & Underground Utilities Division. Requirements are as follows:

Minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in civil construction industry.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to take & relay instructions to achieve successful
results.
Ability to effectively direct other crew members when required.
Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is
essential.
Be familiar with Occupational Health & Safety Regulations.
Safely operate heavy equipment, including, but not limited to, excavators, loader, skid steer, packers.
Assist other crew members in daily duties as required.
Experience with excavation of building pads, grade beams, parking lots, and trenching for utilities.
Experience placing granular within building pads and parking lots for concrete and asphalt
Assist other crew members with shovelling gravel, hand dig for bell holes, valves or other items.
Assist with hand exposing buried utilities.
Assist with setup of laser level and take grade shots, read grade stakes and cut grade using laser
level.
Ability to safely stand where the machines are operating.
Backfill of piping using compactors, jumping jacks and plate tampers.
High attention to detail, problem solving and decision-making skills.
Minimum Class 5 drivers license.
Must have your own transportation to site
