Description

Under the direction of the Home Care Manager, the Registered Nurse carries major responsibilities in providing nursing services in the home; collaborates as a member of a multi-disciplinary team in assessing needs, setting priorities for care and developing standards for care; participates in educational programs and performance evaluation process; promotes good public relations and participates, as required, in studies and research projects within the Home Care Program.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
Experience
At least two years of recent experience in community nursing and/or at least two years of a broad generalist background

Related Information:
It will be desirable if you possess a knowledge of the principles, methods and techniques involved in performing nursing services relating to the care of patients in long term care.

Valid Driver's License is a Must
