Description

We are currently seeking a Labourer for our Peterbilt dealership in Saskatoon. The Labourer position is responsible for assisting in the maintenance of Truck & Trailer based equipment and attachments in a shop environment.

Responsibilities:
- Cleaning parts and components
- Cleaning and organizing the yard
- Some inventory maintenance
- Assisting the other shop personnel fulfill their duties and increase overall shop productivity

Required Skills:
- Demonstrate safe and efficient workplace practices
- Highly motivated, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to carry out and understand verbal and written instructions
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Required Experience:
- Capable of meeting the physical demands of the heavy duty equipment environment (ie: lifting up to 75 pounds)
- Must be capable of working under minimal supervision
- Previous mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn required
- Forklift experience and heavy duty parts handling considered an asset
