The Water Security Agency is seeking a Project Engineer, to join the Owners Engineering team.
Reporting to the Manager, Project Engineering, an employee in this job will provide professional engineering services and support to a broad range of activities directly related to the investigation, design, construction, and rehabilitation of water resource management and/or infrastructure management projects. This employee will be responsible for undertaking routine to moderately complex projects or assignments.
Employee will assist in assessing the operational adequacy and safety of water management infrastructure by participating in field inspections and investigations, performing engineering calculations and analyses both in the filed and the office, preparing applicable reports, project proposals, and reviewing technical documents and drawings. It will also manage projects of moderate size complexity; prepare project cost estimates and material quantity schedules; prepare engineering reports, technical documentation, and drawings.
The successful candidate will have a Degree in Civil Engineering or a similar engineering discipline, a licence to practice professional engineering from the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS). Applicants with the required education will be assessed to determine their level based on relevant experience.
