Description

The Training Specialist is responsible for supporting the goals and activities of the Firm. Reporting into the Director of Human Resources, this role is responsible for the development, implementation, and delivery of comprehensive training programs. This role involves creating both written and electronic training materials, conducting instructor-led training sessions, and collaborating closely with content owners. The Training Specialist will also be responsible for onboarding all new hires ensuring they are well-equipped to succeed. There is a requirement for occasional travel to other offices.

Responsibilities:
*Developing, implementing, and delivering effective training programs for lawyers, staff and students
*Conducting instructor-led training sessions, including the onboarding of new hires
*Delivering application training via classroom, e-learning and remote (virtual) platforms and additional one-on-one coaching
*Working closely with subject matter experts and content owners to ensure training content is relevant and comprehensive
*Organizing and facilitating training sessions, including internal events such as CPD and DEI
*Scheduling and implementing training programs that are comprehensive, well-prepared and educationally sound
*Interacting with third party technical experts to review and design course content
*Developing, updating and providing orientation training on current Windows, Microsoft Office and other Firm-related software, in collaboration with Firm leadership and department managers and directors
*Developing and maintaining reference materials for training, including instructor notes, quick reference guides and manuals
*Developing technology training plans for testing and performing technology testing with the guidance and support of Firm leadership, department managers and Director
*Following direction from senior management to align training initiatives with the firms strategic objectives
