If your experience is limited to this field the immediate role will consist of general laborer around the paving crew such as shoveling and raking asphalt. On the highway your responsibilities will be managing the traffic in a safe manor so the paving crew can operate in one lane for the duration of the job. The role will be negotiated if you have the qualified experience.

Shift

On average, the work day is generally 12 hours a day and the shift is 10 days on and 4 days off, 5 days for holidays. The work takes place all over the province and will continue until the weather turns too cold to operate.

Role

We need Operators to run equipment.  Depending on experience you would primarily run a piece of equipment but would also be expected to run a shovel, rake or even flag when needed.  All of our employee's are well versed at different roles for different times.


Wages will be negotiable based on experience - typically looking at a starting wage of $30 per hour (OT starts after 8 hours).
