Role: Purchasing Supervisor
Location: Saskatoon

Responsibilities:

Provide clear expectations, feedback, motivation, direction, and coaching to team members.
Conduct performance evaluations, development capability building, and succession planning.
Ensure timely availability of materials and consumables for uninterrupted production.
Place and manage purchase orders.
Handle warranty returns and resolve shipping/receiving/invoicing issues.
Manage assigned material commodities and provide backup relief for MRP results and overdue reports.
Estimate and schedule materials requirements based on various factors.
Maintain communication with suppliers to monitor parts, expedite deliveries, and develop contingency plans.
Obtain pricing and delivery information for sales and engineering.
Maintain parts and vendor data in SAP and KANBAN.
Participate in insourcing/outsourcing projects and prepare reports for the SCM team and management.
Requirements:

OMAC accreditation or post-secondary education in purchasing management principles (asset)
1-3 years of Purchasing/Supply Chain Management experience
Experience with automotive manufacturers, suppliers, and dealers (asset)
Proficient with MS Office and knowledgeable in MRP systems (SAP B1 an asset)
