The Role
As the Raisebore/Driller 1, you will be responsible for overseeing the training and safety of raisebore/longhole personnel at second and third levels of progression.

In this role, you will:
-Operate raisebore/longhole drills and all associated equipment
-Co-ordinate moving, set-up, teardown, and placements of raisebore/longhole drilling equipment
-Assist in the installation and removal of bits and reamers.

Required:  
-Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent
-Minimum of five years of relevant work experience as a raisebore/longhole operator in a mining environment
-Minimum of five years underground work experience
-Strong organizational, problem solving and communication skills
-Rotating day shift/night shift schedule
-Ability to obtain a Saskatchewan Blasting certificate

Recommended:
-Experience in longhole drilling and blasting
-Mine Rescue experience
-Ability to operate small pieces of equipment (skid steer)
