The human resource assistant is accountable to the manager, systems and reporting is the initial point of contact for all inquiries and requests into the area of human resources. The human resource assistant is responsible for providing advice and expertise on the administration of many elements of an employees total rewards package, i.e., benefits, pay cycles, seniority, etc. The human resource assistant is accountable for the administrative functions of maintaining employee transactions throughout the employee lifecycle with Saskatchewan Polytechnic. Through this accountability the human resource assistant provides direct support to the local human resource consultants and coordinators. The human resource assistant has considerable interaction with a variety of internal stakeholders and external service providers.
