The Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission (SATCC) is focused on building a trades workforce that is trained, certified, and properly represented. The Executive Advisor to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for overseeing quality management of legislative submissions, supporting services for the Ministers office and Ministry, and providing Secretariat support for the SATCC executive management team. This position identifies and addresses a variety of program and policy issues and implements solutions. You will be a leader with strong decision-making skills working with senior management operating on an invisible line of authority. You are diplomatic, demonstrate sound judgment, simultaneously displaying analytical and interpersonal relations to assist in building and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders, the workforce, and the community.

As the Executive Advisor, you work independently and interdependently as an efficient collaborator working cross-functionally with all levels of employees and team members, and through a consultative and engaging manner with various individuals, employees, teams, citizens, and stakeholders. You address and manage sensitive and differing needs, and resolve problems and conflicting agendas of multiple stakeholders while executing business initiatives and projects to successful completion.

Typically, the knowledge and skills required for this position are acquired through the completion of a degree in business, human services, public policy, public administration or a related discipline and/or government experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
