Description

The Ministry of Social Services helps people with their immediate needs and provide supports for: families to safely care for their children, children and youth in care to be successful, people with disabilities to access community-based services, access to affordable housing, and income assistance to meet peoples basic needs as they work to become self-sufficient to the best of their abilities.

The Community Living Service Delivery branch within the Ministry works to ensure that the physical, emotional and social needs of people experiencing intellectual disabilities are met and that they can live as independently as possible within their own communities.

The Ministry is looking for a collaborative and innovative leader to fill the position of Executive Director for the Community Living Service Delivery branch. Reporting to the Assistant Deputy Minister of Disability Programs, the Executive Director will oversee the quality delivery of services to clients with disabilities and their families through a community-based service delivery system, ensuring life-sustaining, quality care for those in need.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the Saskatchewan Public Service core values of respect and integrity; serving citizens, practicing excellence and innovation; and acting as One Team, including participating in, and contributing to an inclusive workplace culture.

Typically, the knowledge, skills and abilities required for this role would be obtained through a Masters degree in a related field of study. An equivalent combination of experience and education will also be considered for this role.
