Description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.    Cost Estimation:
    Develop comprehensive cost estimates for projects, including materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
    Reviewing supplier costs in order to determine how much each individual element costs, and negotiating with supplies in order to bargain the best prices.
    Use historical data, market analysis, and project specifications to determine accurate estimates.
    Determine the amount of labour required to complete each project.  

2.    Proposal and Bid Preparation:
    Review and analyze project proposals, blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to create accurate and competitive bids.
    Determining the potential profitability of electrical projects to assist management in making sound bidding decisions.
    Providing viable solutions to increase project probability.
    Completing and submitting competitive project bids in accordance with established guidelines.
    Prepare and submit detailed bids to tenders and proposals to clients, ensuring all the necessary information is included.

3.    Vendor and Subcontractor Coordination:
    Obtain and evaluate quotes from supplies and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing.
    Establish, maintain, and build effective, long-lasting relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, engineers, and contractors in the industry.
4.    Project Planning & Scheduling:
    Identify necessary resources, timeline and milestones to ensure project completion within budget and on schedule.

5.    Communication
    Keep in communication with relevant stakeholders.
