Prairie Co-operative is hiring a Full Time Bakery/Deli Supervisor at our Food Centre located in Fort Qu'Appelle, SK.

What youll do:
The Bakery/Deli Supervisor is responsible for providing an exceptional level of customer service and maintaining a safe and efficient operation while adhering to all company policies, procedures, and standards, including meeting established productivity standards.
Assist the department manager with the administration and achievement of budgeted department goals.
Provides leadership to the team through scheduling and assigning work, training, development and performance feedback.
Applies operational knowledge in key performance areas and works with the Department and or/ Store Manager in the allocation of team assignments to achieve objectives.
Make sure optimal merchandising, which includes effective visual displays on the floor, efficient stocking of inventory in storage areas.
Ensures all applicable company policies and procedures are communicated and adhered to and ensure safety and regulatory requirements and procedures are implemented and maintained.
Promotes and ensures all company and food safety policies and procedures are met, including the safe handling and storage of product.
Completing hands-on day to day activities.
Other duties as may be assigned by the Department Managers
Who you are:
If you are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and have:
1+ years experience in retail and/or customer service experience and relevant department experience is preferred.
Strong customer service, communication and problem-solving skills are required
You are honest and trustworthy and have the proven ability to motivate and lead a team.
