Description

Moosomin Housing Authority manages a property and program services portfolio on behalf of Saskatchewan Housing Corporation. The housing authority provides affordable housing to low-income seniors, families and others who could not otherwise access safe, secure housing within Moosomin and neighboring communities.

The Moosomin Housing Authority is looking for an independent, self-starter who enjoys working alone and amongst tenants for the role of Maintenance Technician.   If you are skilled in property maintenance, take pride in your work, are available to work 40 hours a week and participate in a standby system, wed like to hear from you!  

What youll do:
-Building maintenance  service & repair.
-Vacancy preparation.
-Grounds maintenance & snow removal.
-Maintain housing authority equipment and inventory.

What were looking for:
-Experience in repairing building mechanical equipment, custodial & maintenance work.
-General knowledge of carpentry, boilers, plumbing, heating, electrical, mechanical & painting.
-Effective communicator with tenants, housing authority staff, contractors and suppliers.
-Ability to work independently and with team, as required.
-Adherence to Federal and Provincial OH&S Act and Regulations.
-An independent, task oriented, self-starter.

What youll need:
-Valid drivers license and reliable truck.
-Ability to use hand tools.
-Recognition of and respect for peoples diversity and individual differences.
-Successfully complete a criminal background check.

The position is currently vacant.
Salary: $19.97 - $23.32 per hour
