Job Responsibilities
1. Report to and work closely with the Board of Directors to seek their involvement in policy decisions, fundraising and to increase the overall visibility of the organization.
2. Supervise, collaborate with organization staff.
3. Strategic planning and implementation.
4. Planning and operation of annual budget including overseeing and developing revenue streams.
5. Serve as ACEC-SKs primary spokesperson to the organizations constituents, the media and the general public.
6. Establish and maintain relationships with various organizations and utilize those relationships to strategically enhance ACEC-SKs Mission.
7. Collaboratively lead strategic and tactical planning to ensure ACEC-SK can successfully fulfill its Mission into the future.
8. Other duties as assigned by the Board of Directors.
Professional Qualifications for Consideration
- A bachelors degree.
- Transparent and high integrity leadership.
- Five or more years senior nonprofit management experience including working with a Board of Directors.
- High level strategic thinking and planning. Ability to envision and convey the organizations strategic future to the staff, board, volunteers and sponsors.
- Ability to effectively communicate the organizations mission to sponsors, volunteers and the overall community.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee and collaborate with staff.
- Ability to generate new revenue streams and improve financial results.
- Proven relationship building with organizational partners and members.
- Solid organizational abilities.
- Strong non-profit financial management skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong public speaking ability.
- Strong work ethic.
- Ability to prioritize about ACEC-SKs goals and initiatives in isolation.
