Regina Early Learning Centre (RELC) Preschool is currently seeking a dedicated and safety minded van driver to transport students in a 15 passenger transit van to and from school. This is an essential role in the communication with parents and children attending preschool.  Due to the young age of the students this driver must be able to provide a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector and be willing to supply driving abstract for insurance purposes.

Minimum 3 month probationary period.

Part time hours (4.75 hours per day)

Drivers are responsible for the safe transportation of students Monday -Thursday and must be committed to safety and excellence in communication with children and families.
As a van driver you would work a spilt shift (morning, lunch run, after school run) a total of 4.75 hours a day minimum would be paid (additional hours granted with field trips, events, and other classroom needs).  Drivers would work with a team of 3 other drivers and drive assigned to families for evening programs.
Drivers would be transporting students September  June and have the months and July and August off.

Requirements
Valid class 5 drivers license (paid annual renewal by RELC)
Organized, punctual and reliable
Ability to communicate effectively with children and families
Knowledge of City streets in multiple areas in Regina.  Training and route development support provided
Commitment to excellence in service.
