What youll do:
The Assistant Transportation Manager will execute and optimize transportation operations. Ensuring goods are transported efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulations. Involves a greater emphasis on carrier management, route planning, and fleet operations. You will accomplish this by:
    Provide team leadership, including recruitment, goal setting, performance management, training and development.
    Be point of contact and respond to concerns relating to execution, documentation, and shipping of products.
    Manage internal transfers within the dispatch software, ensure instructions are clear, contact the shipping location to clarify as necessary.
    Communicate with management to assist with delivery of product inventory.
    Maintain Borderland Co-op National Safety Code program including all safety and maintenance requirements.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Transportation Management and:
    Diploma or degree in business, logistics, or relevant field or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
    1  3 Years fleet industry experience.
    Proficiency with the Microsoft Office and ability to learn specialized software quickly
    You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
