Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack daily
Be able to cook for 40-60 children
Prepare snacks and meals in a manner which is appropriate to the ages and levels of development for all children.
Maintain a sanitary and organized work space
Discard of kitchen garbage and recycling after each shift
Assist director with menu planning when needed
Provide nutritious recipes for homemade meals and snack that follow the Canada food guide
Cover off ECE lunch breaks when needed
Mandatory Requirements
Possession of or willingness to obtain a Food Safe Handling course
Possession of or willingness to obtain First Aid and CPR Level C
A criminal record search, including a vulnerable sector check
