Description

Working with the Patron Experience Manager, Experience Assistants are a flexible position who:
-    Supervises corporate and private events at the Dekker Centre including client relations, bartending and operations/logistics
-    Supervises Volunteers and controls front of house operations as a Front of House Representative during all events in the theatre
-    Is a Customer Service Representative in the Box Office selling tickets for all ticketed events
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Patron Experience Manager, the Experience Assistant will:  
    Work with rental clients to assist during an event
    Work with the Patron Experience Manager to set up or take down large scale events
    Work with all clients, artists, and Dekker Centre staff to ensure proper execution and service to clients
    Maintain organization of all spaces in the Dekker Centre that are being used by rental clients
    Act as the primary contact for any rental clients when the Patron Experience Manager isnt present.
    Supervise all volunteers during ticketed events
    Ensure all ticketed events are operating seamlessly
    Supervise allpaid bartenders during events
    Provide customer service excellence in the Box Office
Skills:
We are looking for someone who:
    Has a high level of professionalism and good work ethic
    Is creative and has good critical thinking skills
    Strong interpersonal communication skills
    Confident working independently but can also work well with a small team
    Preferred but not required: flexibility to work daytime shifts as well as required evenings and weekends

Qualifications:
    Experience working in event management is an asset but not necessary
    Experience working in a service industry position is an asset but not necessary
    Will need to retain Serve It Right before their first shift if they do not have it already
    Computer literacy (comfortable with Office 365)
