Description

The Breakfast Server is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to all restaurant guests. This includes providing prompt service, taking accurate orders, and having a comprehensive knowledge of menu items and daily specials. The server should always perform their duties in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring guests have an enjoyable dining experience. Responsibilities also include setting tables properly, clearing used dishes, assisting with cleaning tasks, and adhering to all restaurant policies and procedures.
- Take food and beverage orders from guests and relay them to the appropriate staff
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all menu items, including bar offerings.
- Serve food and beverages professionally and courteously, in line with company standards.
- Clean designated areas following company procedures, including opening and closing routines and hygiene requirements.
- Refill and clean condiment set for each table.
- Set tables according to company standards, ensuring all items are clean, undamaged, and in good repair.
- Ensure storerooms are adequately stocked.
- Clean tables promptly once guests have finished their meals, balancing speed with allowing guests to finish comfortably.
- Correctly charge customers, present bills, and handle payments according to establishment procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service, assisting guests as needed without negatively impacting other customers.
- Address customer complaints professionally.
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures and be familiar with emergency protocols.
- Maintain the highest standards of personal hygiene and dress.
- Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
- Perform any other assigned duties.
- Strong customer service experience.
