Description

To provide an organized, timely response to address the staffing needs of Rail City Industries. To maintain all aspects of staff scheduling while adhering to collective bargaining agreement and staffing guidelines of all departments. To follow the seniority requirements of the agency to ensure that the 24 hour a day required employee compliment is filled for Four Group Homes, Day Program and the SALP Program.

Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for all staff scheduling and coverage required at Group Homes, Day Program and SALP, including booking casual staff as required, approving team vacation requests, illness, trainings and any other approved leaves and verification of staff time sheets
To be on call for the team leaders for staffing purposes
To maintain confidentiality at all times, and follow all policies and procedures of Rail City Industries
To report any irregularities against the philosophy/protocol of RCI immediately to the Executive Director
Required Qualifications:

Office Administration certificate or Twelve (12) months previous experience working in an office environment to develop organizational skills and gain an understanding of functional requirements of the organization

Strong Essential Skills: reading, writing, computer, communication
The ability to follow policies in regard to managing Seniority based call in procedure.
Experience with Schedule design, strong time management skills and organizational skills
Must be bondable
Must submit to a criminal record check and vulnerable persons check upon acceptance of employment
