Description

We are actively seeking a Junior Estimator who is reliable, knowledgeable team player with strong work ethic. In this role, you will oversee project estimating, planning, budgeting, and implementation.
Responsibilities:
Assisting our Senior Estimator with job estimation and proposal writing.
Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, and clients.
Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs.
Scheduling of deliveries, meetings and sub-contractor work.
Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.
Qualifications:
No experience (0-1.5 years)
Architectural Technologist Diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in construction estimating or other related fields and familiarity with estimating software would be a huge asset.
Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
Deadline and detail-orientated
Good with repetitive workload.
Flexible, positive and energetic.
Knowledge of various roof systems through estimating or installing (asset)
Computer literacy
MS Office
Planswift program would also be an asset.

Experience:
Construction Estimating, Commercial Flat Roofing Estimating would be an asset/ 3 years field work as a commercial roofer.
Education:
Architectural Technologist Diploma (or equivalent)
