Journeyman Mechanic -

The City of Prince Albert is looking for a Journeyman Mechanic to fill a permanent full time position.

Under the supervision of the Fleet Manager this position performs maintenance and repair of heavy duty equipment, light duty equipment, small motor equipment and non-motorized equipment and vehicles.

The successful candidate will be expected to work effectively with limited supervision in exercising sound independent judgment in making decisions and resolving work problems.  

Required Qualifications:
Red Seal Certificate Mechanic Ticket as recognized by the Province of Saskatchewan;
Heavy Duty of Truck and Transport desired
Must possess and maintain tools as listed on the Mechanics Tool List;
Grade 12 education; and
Valid Drivers License;3A or 1A Desired
Certified to complete SGI inspections an asset
