Description

Required Experience:

o    Must be an expert in administering Business Intelligence platforms  Amazon QuickSight and IBM Cognos Analytics
o    Experience with Amazon QuickSight, AWS DataPipeline, AWS CodePipeline, Python, BOTO3 SDK, TypeScript, Git
o    10+ years of BI experience.

Required Skills:

o    Good knowledge on AWS service offerings and their architecture
o    Must have SQL experience to troubleshoot issues at the query level.
o    Work with Scrum teams & analytics support teams for maintaining consistent uptime.
o    Experience working with vendor customer support on issue resolution.
o    Good understanding of ODS/EDW and Content Deployments in BI tools.
o    Ability to work independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments. Receives no instruction on routine work, general instructions on new assignments.
o    Availability to work after hours and/or weekends and on-call, as specified by supervisor.
o    Must possess a proven track record on business intelligence project delivery and demonstrate exceptional business acumen, strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Description of Duties:

o    Serves as a first line of support for technical issues relating to BI Platforms
o    Write typescript and python code to build utilities using BOTO3 API calls
o    Analyse AWS CloudWatch/CloudTrail logs to extract audit findings
o    Work with AWS Support to resolve any critical issues
o    Monitors and maintains application security and access requests.
o    Provides support to reporting communities / power users
o    Works with business partners to plan new or upgrade existing BI infrastructure
o    Design, Install and maintain reporting infrastructure for the enterprise data warehouse and other reporting environments
o    Plan Upgrades and enhancements of BI environments with the assistance of product architects
o    Knowledge on third party administration product called BSP MetaManager is nice to have
