Description

Required Experience:

o    Hands-on experience with designing dashboards in Amazon QuickSight is required.
o    Experience with creating datasets and SPICE query mode within AWS.
o    Must be an expert in Report Authoring.
o    Must have data extraction knowledge by writing complex & analytical SQL queries.
o    Experience with best practices in the Business Intelligence platforms like Cognos, Power BI, Tableau, SAS.
o    10+ years of BI experience.

Required Skills:

o    Good knowledge on working with QuickSight.
o    Must have SQL experience in building and analyzing queries in Oracle & Teradata databases.
o    Work with scrum teams & support staff for reports migration.
o    Strong understanding of relational and star-schema database designs is preferred.
o    Good understanding of ODS/EDW and AWS Data marts.
o    Good knowledge and experience using different Web services offered by Amazon.
o    Ability to work independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments. Receives no instruction on routine work, general instructions on new assignments.
o    Must possess a proven track record on BI project delivery and demonstrate exceptional business acumen, strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.

Description of duties:

o    Cleanse and transform data to ensure compatibility with QuickSight & relational databases.
o    Create datasets which will be used to build Analyses & Dashboards in QuickSight.
o    Build dashboards in QuickSight with visualization best practices while maintaining similar functionality of the report being migrated from a different BI platform like Cognos, SAS.
o    Optimize dashboard performance through dataset tuning.
o    Unit test reports before submitting them for UAT approvals.
o    Triage & resolve bugs reported by the UAT team.
o    Lead technical demos delivered to the user community for go-live dashboards.
o    Provide on-going support for issues related to Production dashboards.
