Description

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full Time Registered Pharmacy Technician at our Pharmacy in our Food Store location in Prince Albert, Sk.

Reporting to the Pharmacy Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach
Managing inventory
Maintaining patient records
Prescription processing and verification
Transferring prescriptions
Receiving and transcribing verbal prescriptions
Compounding as per NAPRA standards of practice
Ensuring confidentiality and privacy of personal health information
Educating patients according to scope of practice
Preparing and submitting insurance claims
General housekeeping duties
All other duties as assigned

Who you are:  
You are looking for a career in a progressive, patient-centred Pharmacy and:
You are a graduate from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program from a recognized institution
You have current licensure and good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals
You have 1-3 years of prior experience
You embrace innovation and technology and have excellent manual dexterity and keyboarding skills
You are well organized, and capable of attaining a high level of production with a minimum level of supervision
You are honest and trustworthy, results oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do
You believe in building relationships, and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives
You have point of sale experience and can work in a fast-paced, guest facing environment
