JOB DESCRIPTION- FOOD SERVICE SUPERVISOR

EMPLOYMENT DETAILS:    
Title: FOOD SERVICE SUPERVISOR-NOC-62020
Term: FULLTIME, PERMANENT, INDETERMINATE, NON SEASONAL
Wages: $15 CAD PER HOUR
Hours: 40 HOURS/ WEEK
Location: 14-3710 EASTGATE DRIVE, REGINA SK, CANADA, S4V 1A5
Experience  6 months to less than 1 year
Number of Openings: 5

MAIN DUTIES:

Oversee, plan, and schedule the work of the employees who prepare, portion, and serve meals.
Calculate how much food and supplies you'll need for the meal and place your order.
Compile summaries of meal orders for the chef based on requests from dietitians, hospital patients, and other clients.
Create work schedules and guidelines.
Keep track of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
Educate employees on job responsibilities, hygiene, and safety protocols.
Oversee and inspect the construction of both standard and special diet trays, as well as the transportation of food carts to hospitalized patients.
Verify that the food and service fulfill quality control requirements.
May take part in hiring food service personnel and contribute to the creation of budgets, rules, and procedures.
May create cafeteria menus and calculate associated labor and food expenses.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Education:  Completion of high school
Preference will be given to the candidate with any diploma.
Credentials: Food Safety Certification-2024 must be completed.

Ability to provide best customer service.
Work conditions and physical capabilities

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
Language: English Required
