Summary of Position
This posting is for a Permanent Part-Time (.875 FTE) Caretaker at Norman Carter School, to commence June 26th, 2024. Position hours are seven (7) hours a day, Monday to Friday. As a Caretaker, you will focus on keeping the school clean and maintained to provide an optimal learning setting for our students. The successful candidate must possess well developed interpersonal skills, be energetic, have the ability to take initiative and work independently with a positive and supportive attitude in a team environment.
This position includes janitorial work, groundskeeping, seasonal tasks, and some maintenance.
Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with a Grade 12 education and previous training/experience in caretaking
A Firemans Certificate or WHMIS training would be considered an asset
