S3 Group Ltd. is currently recruiting for a Operations Manager to join our team at our location in Swift Current, SK. This is a full-time position starting immediately.

In this role you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations, production, quality, safety, and personnel management. Ideally you will have a strong background in manufacturing management and a proven track record of driving operational excellence, employee engagement, and continuous improvement. This role will require hands-on leadership and the ability to adapt to the unique challenges and opportunities within this environment.

Supervise staff
Provide support to the General Manager
Monitor raw material requirements as required
Obtain quotes as required
Generate respective purchase orders
Develop consolidated bid packages to leverage pricing
Ensure suppliers are maintaining a timely deliveries as promised and
Maintain and develop new supplier relationships
Analyze, maintain and adjust ROP's and ROQ's for all inventory categories based on buying volumes and cyclic business trends or change in business activities
Monitor inventory related KPI's
Maintaining and or revise costing standards
Create quotes for sales department
Oversee all warehouse employees and activities for precision, timeliness, scheduling and safety
Oversee the Safety program and be on the OH&S committee
