The Saskatoon Community Clinic is seeking a part-time, locum family physician with an interest in refugee health to join our REACH team. Providing primary health care to between 300-400 refugee patients per year, REACH has been a successful collaboration between the following organizations: Saskatoon Community Clinic, Global Gathering Place, Saskatoon Open Door Society, University of Saskatchewan, SHA, and Tuberculosis Prevention and Control (SK). Our inter-disciplinary team setting enables practitioners the time, support, and access to services they need to provide quality family and patient centered care. We place a strong emphasis on health promotion, disease prevention, quality improvement, and support for persons with disability or unique needs. The Clinic operates with an Electronic Medical Record (Med Access).
We offer competitive remuneration along with excellent benefits, vacation and study leave provisions.
Applicants must be able to obtain a license to practice in Saskatchewan and obtain family medicine privileges with the Saskatchewan Health Authority. Preference will be given to applicants with certification in family medicine.
